Hit the VATS button as soon as you throw and you’ll find you can target the grenade, though depending on its location your shot chance will be different (this is another great opportunity for using the guarantee of a Crit.) And boom – no more legs for your luckless foes. Messed up that grenade toss? Always throwing it just a second too late as the Raiders scarper? Worry ye not my wasteland friend, for there are two magnificent tricks to frags that will turn your throwing arm into the envy of Shane Warne.įirst one is obvious when you think about it: a well-placed bullet will prematurely detonate your grenade. Think of this as at least one free shot and, thanks to the shonky enemy AI, usually many more – if they’re still alive after using VATS, just spam that trigger. I am an old fool I just had a look at the build again and did notice this time that in a way the walls have been replaced already with the walk ways etc.Crits are also useful for taking out the combat inhibitors on the back of mechanical enemies.īut it doesn’t end there! One of the most useful functions of VATS is that your aim will be centred on any enemy you shot at after you’ve exited VATS. I understand if you wouldn't want to I'm sure it already has taken a huge amount of effort on your part I muchly admire the amazing talent shown by yourself and the many others here with such amazing builds that make it so easy for people like me to get so much more enjoyment out of FO4. Many left those horrible little buggy bits of scrap on the floor that make it difficult to build in the rooms like the one left under the original bed in the generals quarters.

The only one I tried that worked really well unfortunately made too many changes ie: moving the main door, moving the road etc etc. I tried to use most of the castle rebuild mods from nexus and most seemed to have some kind of glitch that made all the walls disappear or relied on things such as Fo4se. History shows where you have military bases civilian towns tend to spring up around them. I personally think the fort being very militarized with barracks and such does fit in nicely with the town. I don't suppose you might consider (comment deleted) a general clean up of the interior at all as part of this? Though the current Rotc plan is pretty cool I really didn't like the fact the walls at minimum weren't repaired, after all in line with the story it is supposed to be the minute man bastion.
